Jenni Entz is not just the owner but the heart and soul of All About Dogs Boarding & Training. With her infectious passion for dogs and their owners, she's adored by all who cross her path.
Jenni finds immense joy in Rally, where the delight of her human clients mirrors that of their furry companions. She firmly believes that proper training forms the cornerstone of a harmonious relationship between owners and their dogs. At All About Dogs, you'll often find her working shoulder-to-shoulder with dog owners, guiding them to understand their vital role in their dog's life and the pivotal role that clear communication plays in achieving happy dog ownership.
A lifelong resident of Nevada County, Jenni and her partner Sandy have collectively spent four decades cultivating a legacy of care and training for dogs. Their journey began with Sandy's ownership of S&S Dog Boarding and Training in Penn Valley, California. Through thousands of private sessions and group classes, they successfully trained countless dogs, instilling a sense of trust and camaraderie.
When Sandy entrusted her business to Jenni, it became apparent that training dogs was the most gratifying aspect of her profession. Jenni embraced this calling and expanded their training services by establishing the All About Dogs Training Center in Grass Valley, California.

Sandy Self is at the heart of our passion for dog training, with a special affinity for teaching Agility. Her enthusiasm for this dynamic discipline shines through as she guides both owners and their dogs to achieve precision, teamwork, and most importantly, the pure joy of the experience.
With deep roots in Nevada County, Sandy and her partner Jenni have collectively called it home for over 40 years. Together, they've cultivated a legacy of care and training for dogs that has enriched countless lives.
Sandy's journey in the world of canine training began with the ownership and operation of S&S Dog Boarding and Training in Penn Valley, California. At S&S, she not only provided top-notch boarding services but also imparted her wisdom to thousands of dogs through private sessions and group classes. Her expertise and dedication earned her a reputation as a trusted trainer and mentor.
As life's path led Sandy to pass the torch to Jenni, it became evident that training dogs was the most rewarding part of their shared profession. Jenni, inspired by Sandy's legacy, expanded their training services by establishing the All About Dogs Training Center in Grass Valley, California.

Jackie's journey into dog training started with a passion for helping others and love for dogs. Volunteering in search and rescue in 2014 ignited her career path. She gained experience from grooming shops, pet stores, and online courses.
She began as an assistant, progressed to providing instructions, and later became an equal trainer. Jackie and her colleague revamped training programs, focusing on building strong dog-handler connections.
Her dog walking experience broadened her expertise with various breeds. Joining All About Dogs, she found a nurturing environment for growth.
Jackie's dedication shines through. She plans to pursue certifications like CGC and explore therapy dog opportunities.
Rachel Devitt Handler and Headmaster of Hounds
Rachel Devitt is a dedicated member of our team at All About Dogs Boarding & Training, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep love for dogs. With nearly four and a half years of hands-on involvement in the world of canine care, Rachel's journey with dogs began when she first volunteered at Sammie's Friends in October of 2018.
Her passion for our four-legged companions has always been a driving force in her life, stemming from the moment she adopted her first dog at the age of ten. It was then that Rachel knew her future would be intricately woven with the world of dogs.
In March 2022, Rachel joined the All About Dogs family, where her role in boarding provided her with fresh perspectives. Having spent time at the shelter, she witnessed both the challenges and the heartwarming stories of dogs and their devoted owners. This experience deepened her appreciation for the incredible love and care that dogs receive in their forever homes.
